All about the batteries of electric shears

Three brands share the market of the power pruner. Each has its specificities and you certainly made a choice on one of them. Regardless of the brand of your secateurs this has a battery more or less heavy on the basis of its year of manufacture. Indeed manufacturers are trying constantly to reduce and alleviate the battery while keeping power and maximum autonomy. It is for this reason that we have 3 different technologies that are used by the pruning shears: the NiCd, NiMh, lithium.

These are classified by chronological order and weight/power ratio.

Each battery has characteristics which are clean and which make it incompatible with the other, the voltage, amperage, the dimensions are as many points important to replace your battery of secateurs.

Batteries for pruner PANDIAN:

Pruner Pellenc PE20 and PE30 24V battery 5 Ah Ni-CD

This first generation battery, heavy enough, is inserted in a plastic carrying case. It does not require any special maintenance, but prefer to be stored loaded. We deliver ready to use, but it will still take 2 cycles of charge and discharge.

Kit cutter Pellenc P2000 26.4V 3Ah Ni-CD battery

This battery is certainly the most widely used even today. It is in the shape of banana on a belt positioned in the back. To change this battery, batteries4pro offers two solutions, the kit to install itself in the orange hull, or installation in workshop (costs of transport being offered). For the kit to assemble yourself, you need to use a soldering iron for soldering 6 terminals of the batteries to the internal wires. If you are handy this is a formality.

Pruner Pellenc LIXION Lithium ion battery

This battery of latest generation of 44.4V to the Li - Ion is inside the plastic housing. It is linked to an electronic card that manages the charging and discharging through the cutter. This e-card is not changed during our intervention, this is why it must be in working order when your shipment. (To be sure its good operation check that the LCD screen displays information). After receipt of your battery in our workshops we will open it, change batteries, calibrate it with the electronic card, and load it with your charger. Then we reship you the by colissimo 48 h. 

Batteries for pruner INFACO:

Pruner Infaco Electrocoup F3000 and F3002 Ni-MH battery

This is a 48V 4Ah battery that fits the morphology of the user. It is placed in the back with a big belt. Mounting is simple because it is enough to connect the battery using an electric domino. There is no welding or big manipulation for its change. After receipt of the battery it will be necessary to make 2 complete cycles of charge and discharge in order to give full occupancy.

Pruner Infaco Electrocoup F3005 and R4005 Ni-MH battery

This 48V battery is an evolution of the F3000. More flexible and lighter (2.4 Kg) it has the same autonomy of work. Pruner fitting is done by electric domino and the implementation in the belt requires no skill. It is used by many other tools in the range Electrocoup, Maxicoup, Electroliv, Powercoup and Epampreuse. 

Pruner Electrocoup F3010 Infaco Ni-MH battery

This new range has remained in NiMh and 48v which allows to have a powerful battery at the best price and compatibility with the F3005 devices. It is placed in a rubber sheath that forms a T in the back in order to distribute the weight and to have maximum comfort during use. Kit F3010 proposed by Batteries4pro is totally adjusted to the dimensions of the duct and allows quick and seamless replacement. 

Batteries for secateurs FELCO:

Secateurs Felco 82 and 82A 24V battery 5 Ah Ni-CD

Available in 2 models, day and half day, the battery for secateurs Felco 82 is first generation, heavy enough, and is inserted in a plastic carrying case. It does not require any special maintenance, but prefer to be stored loaded. We deliver ready to use, with its connector, but it will still take 2 cycles of charge and discharge. Manufactured with Saft elements quality and robustness make it a unbeaten battery.

Secateurs FELCO 800 and 810 Lithium ion battery

This battery of latest generation of 44.4V to the Li - Ion is inside the plastic housing. It is linked to an electronic card who manages the charging and discharging through the cutter. All batteries to electric shears are guaranteed 1 year and are manufactured in our workshops, except the Felco 800 and the Lixion. It is thanks to this production that we can guarantee a functionally equivalent to the original battery, and a fast and efficient after-sales service.
