How do I replace the TSXBAT002 backup battery of a TSX4740 processor?
- The backup battery for the TSX4740 processors is replaced as follows:
- back up the app on eprom console or cartridge,
- put the automaton off,
- open the processor,
- check the condition of the circuit board (no trace of sulphate around the battery).
- unstifer the battery,
- resunit the new battery while respecting the polarity (be careful about the quality of the welds because the circuit board is multi-layered),
- roll up the processor,
- recharge the program.
