Paediatric key for Philips FRx AED or FRx Trainer
This paediatric defibrillation key can only be used with the FRx defibrillator when operating on an infant or child (under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kilograms). Once the key is inserted, the device will immediately reduce the energy level to the appropriate threshold for pediatric defibrillation and adapt the voice and visual messages as well as the instructions for cardiac massage assistance accordingly. The diagram on the wrench indicates the correct positioning of the electrodes on an infant or child.
